Honor quietly broadened its tablet lineup alongside the new Honor Power 2, introducing two distinct models: the productivity-focused Pad 10 Pro and the education-minded Pad X10 Pro. Both are now offered in Soft Light Editions designed to make extended screen time easier on the eyes.
Two tablets, two audiences
The Pad 10 Pro is aimed at creators and power users who want a premium display, long battery life and desktop-like productivity. By contrast, the Pad X10 Pro targets students and families with learning-focused software and parental controls, while keeping the price more accessible.
Key specs and standout features
Here’s what each model brings to the table and why the new Soft Light Editions could matter if you read or study on a tablet for hours.

- Honor Pad 10 Pro: 11.5-inch 2.8K LCD, 144Hz refresh rate, DCI-P3 color gamut. Optional Soft Light Edition offers a paper-like reading feel and multiple eye-care technologies including hardware low blue light, global DC dimming, defocus eye protection and an AI-powered sleep-aid display.
- Performance is driven by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Ultra and a 10,100mAh battery. Audio comes from an eight-speaker array with spatial sound. Software features are geared toward productivity: PC-level WPS support, desktop-style multitasking, advanced document editing, LaTeX formula editing, paper comparison, AI document summaries, handwriting/formula recognition and synchronized voice notes. It also supports the Magic Pencil 4s stylus.
- Pricing starts at 2,499 yuan (about $358) for 12GB + 256GB. The Magic Pencil 4s is an extra 399 yuan (~$58), while the Soft Light Edition bundle with stylus is 2,699 yuan (~$385).
- Honor Pad X10 Pro: 11.5-inch 2.5K LCD, 120Hz refresh rate, 100% sRGB and up to 400 nits. Also available in a Soft Light Edition for gentler reading.
- Powered by a Snapdragon 685, it packs an 8,300mAh battery with 35W fast charging, a four-speaker setup and a lightweight all-metal unibody at just 475g. Color options include Mountain Gray and Sky Blue.
- Where the X10 Pro stands out is software: preloaded K–12 content (including courses from Beijing No. 4 High School), AI homework tools, error correction, remote parental management, multi-screen collaboration, file sharing and printing assistance. Price starts at 1,499 yuan (~$215).

Whether you’re weighing a tablet for creative work, binge streaming and note-taking, or a dedicated learning device for a student, Honor’s two new models make clear trade-offs: the Pad 10 Pro leans into performance and multimedia, while the X10 Pro emphasizes education tools and value. The Soft Light Editions add an extra selling point for anyone who spends long hours reading or studying on a screen.
