Honor X80 Leak: 10,000mAh Battery and 6.8-inch OLED

Imagine charging your phone once and forgetting about the cable for two days. Or three. That is the provocative promise floating around the latest leak about Honor's next X-series device, likely the X80, which tipster Digital Chat Station pins for a June debut in China.

What the rumor paints

At the heart of the chatter: a gargantuan battery north of 10,000mAh paired with 90W wired charging. Small batteries are becoming a relic. Phones that last through heavy travel, long gaming sessions and back-to-back calls are what users actually want. The rumor also points to a 6.8-inch LTPS OLED display, flat design, 1.5K resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate.

Performance could come from a Snapdragon 6-series chip, likely the Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 just announced. Honor may keep the X-series’ practical focus, blending endurance with sensible performance rather than chasing flagship extremes. The leak even mentions a shock-resistant build — a nod to durability that buyers appreciate.

If true, this would be the first Honor X-series handset to ship with a 10,000mAh-class battery.

Color options reportedly include Mystic Black, Moonlight White, Lightning Red and Vibrant Orange. Those choices read like a consumer play: classic tones and a few that stand out on social feeds.

Why does this matter? Because Honor's X-line sits in a competitive middle ground. The X70 sold strongly last year, moving nearly 7 million units according to reports, and it offered a 6.79-inch OLED, Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 and an 8,300mAh battery with 80W charging. If the X80 follows the leak, Honor would be pushing battery capacity and keeping display and charging tech in step with modern expectations.

Questions remain. Will the larger battery bring heft? How will Honor balance weight and ergonomics? Will wireless charging return, and will storage tiers affect features? Those details will matter as soon as Honor confirms launch timing and pricing for markets beyond China.

Leaks are a sketch, not the final painting. Still, a June unveiling would give Honor time to sharpen the X80’s identity: endurance-focused, value-aware, and ready to challenge rivals in the midrange arena.
