If you are struggling to access your professional network right now, you are not alone. LinkedIn, the world’s largest professional networking platform, is currently experiencing a major service disruption affecting users globally.
Reports have been flooding in over the last 30 minutes, indicating that both the desktop website and the mobile application are inaccessible.
The "500 Internal Server Error" Users attempting to visit LinkedIn.com are currently being greeted by a blank white screen displaying a "500 Internal Server Error."
According to screenshots shared by users and verified by Smarti, the error message is accompanied by a Cloudflare branding footer. This specific error code typically indicates a problem with the website's server or an issue with the upstream provider, confirming that the fault lies with LinkedIn’s infrastructure rather than user internet connections.
What We Know So Far:
Scope: The outage appears to be global, with reports coming from the US, Europe, and Asia.
The Issue: A "500 Internal Server Error" suggests a failure in the server-side processing. The presence of the Cloudflare label suggests a possible issue with the Content Delivery Network (CDN) or the hand-off between Cloudflare and LinkedIn's origin servers.
Status: As of now, Microsoft (LinkedIn's parent company) has not yet issued an official statement regarding the cause of the crash or an estimated time for a fix.
This is a developing story. We will update this article as soon as services are restored or an official statement is released.
