Samsung has quietly introduced a 60W USB-C power adapter that looks like a direct lead-up to the Galaxy S26 Ultra. Listed on several regional Samsung stores, this compact charger promises faster wired charging and broader device compatibility — and it could change the way Samsung’s next flagship juices up.
Speed, specs and how it stacks up
Sold as the Samsung 60W Power Adapter (model EP-T6010NBEGWW), the brick appears on Samsung websites across Europe, parts of South America and the Middle East. It has a single USB-C port and supports Super Fast Charging 2.0, USB-PD (5V, 15V, 20V) and PPS (5–20V) at up to 3A. Standby power draw is rated at just 5mW, and Samsung highlights temperature, overcurrent and short-circuit protections for safer operation.

Compared with Samsung’s older 45W adapter (EP-T4511XBEGGB) — which limited output to 3A at 15V and 2.25A at 20V and therefore capped at 45W — the new unit removes that ceiling and enables true 60W delivery under supported conditions. Note, however, that it doesn’t support AVS.
Who can use it?
Samsung markets the 60W adapter as suitable for phones, Galaxy tablets and Galaxy Book laptops. Right now most Galaxy tablets top out at 45W, so real benefits for tablets depend on future models (the Tab S12 family is a likely candidate). Galaxy Book laptops already accept up to 65W charging, so the new adapter should work fine for smaller laptops and ultrabooks that accept USB-C charging.
It’s currently offered only in black and carries a European price of €53. Availability varies by region — it’s already listed in markets such as Austria, Sweden, Romania and Peru, among others.

Why it matters for the Galaxy S26 lineup
Leaks and rumors suggest the Galaxy S26 Ultra will become Samsung’s first phone to support faster-than-45W wired charging, which makes this 60W adapter a logical accessory. Wireless charging is getting a boost too: the S26 Ultra is expected to support up to 25W wireless (up from 15W on the S25 Ultra), while the S26 and S26+ could do 20W wirelessly. The vanilla S26’s wired charging remains less certain.

Whether you’re a power-user who wants shorter top-up times or someone who carries a single charger for phone, tablet and laptop, the 60W adapter is a practical step toward higher-speed charging across Samsung’s ecosystem. Expect clearer compatibility details when Samsung formally unveils the S26 family.
