Motorola has added another model to its 2026 G series lineup: the Moto G Power (2026). It targets buyers who want long battery life and solid durability without breaking the bank, pairing a midrange MediaTek chipset with a large screen and rugged hardware.
Big screen, bright panel and military-grade toughness
The phone sports a 6.8-inch FHD+ LCD with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1,000-nit peak brightness, all protected by Gorilla Glass 7i. Motorola also equipped the handset with stereo speakers and high durability credentials — IP68 and IP69 water/dust ratings plus testing across 14 MIL-STD-810H categories, which covers drops, temperature swings and humidity.
Hardware that balances performance and efficiency
Under the hood sits MediaTek's Dimensity 6300 paired with 8GB of RAM. Photography is handled by a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide and a dedicated macro vision lens, while a 32MP front sensor takes care of selfies. The software side ships with Android 16 out of the box.
Battery life is the headline: a 5,200 mAh cell with 30W wired charging. Motorola promises the battery will retain more than 80% of its original capacity after 1,000 charge cycles — a useful metric if you plan to keep the phone for a few years.

Available in Pantone Pure Cashmere and Pantone Evening Blue, the Moto G Power (2026) lands in the US on January 8 priced at $299.99. Initial retailers include Verizon, Best Buy, Amazon and Motorola's online store; major prepaid and postpaid carriers such as Cricket, AT&T and Visible will follow in the coming months. In Canada Motorola will sell the device directly from January 8 for CAD 449.99.
