Hisense XR10 and PX4-Pro Unveiled Ahead of CES 2026

Hisense has introduced two new laser projectors — the XR10 flagship and the PX4-Pro ultra-short-throw — ahead of CES 2026, promising brighter images, wider color coverage and smarter thermal and sensing systems designed for modern living spaces.

XR10: flagship brightness with precision optics

The XR10 steps in as Hisense’s new Laser TV flagship, using the company’s LPU 3.0 Digital Laser Engine and a pure RGB triple‑laser light source to push brightness to 6,000 ANSI lumens. That output positions the XR10 for use in darker home theaters as well as rooms with significant ambient light — a notable trend as manufacturers chase everyday living-room viewing, not just dark-cinema setups.

Beyond raw brightness, Hisense emphasizes optical quality and stability. The XR10 uses 16 all-glass lenses to boost light transmittance and thermal reliability, while a 6000:1 native contrast ratio and coverage of the wide BT.2020 color gamut target richer, more accurate color. Speckle suppression is reportedly down to around 6 percent to reduce distractions on large screens.

The projector includes a flexible optical zoom (0.84x–2.0x) that supports screen sizes from about 65 inches up to an impressive 300 inches. A new IRIS system dynamically adjusts lens aperture and exposure for changing room light, and the XR10’s four-camera plus dual TOF intelligent sensing array enables AI-assisted auto adjustments, ±15° side-projection correction and both vertical and horizontal lens shift.

Thermals are handled by an industry-first fully sealed microchannel liquid cooling system, a move aimed at keeping performance stable without the noise of high-speed fans — useful in quiet home theaters or living rooms with sensitive audio setups.

PX4-Pro: UST performance for everyday home theaters

The PX4-Pro targets the ultra-short-throw (UST) market for users who want a near-wall-mounted, projector-driven TV experience. The PX4-Pro delivers 4K resolution at up to 200 inches diagonally from a short throw distance and produces roughly 3,500 ANSI lumens. It continues the design language of the PX3-Pro while adding Hisense’s TriChroma laser technology and IMAX Enhanced certification for a more cinematic picture.

Like the XR10, the PX4-Pro benefits from the IRIS system to maximize contrast (advertised up to 6000:1) and includes features tailored to gamers, including low-latency support. The combination of UST convenience, TriChroma color and IMAX tuning aims to bring theater-grade visuals into everyday living rooms without complicated installation.

Hisense has not yet disclosed pricing or exact release dates for either model. Both projectors will be on display at CES 2026 in Las Vegas (Central Hall, Booth 17704), where attendees can see the XR10 and PX4-Pro in person and judge how the company’s brightness, color and cooling claims hold up in real-world demos.
