MSI Debuts Dual 32-inch 4K QD-OLED Monitors for 2026

MSI has revealed two 32-inch 4K QD-OLED gaming monitors ahead of CES 2025, bringing a new 5-layer Tandem OLED architecture and protective DarkArmor Film to its lineup. The MPG 322UR QD-OLED X24 and MAG 321UP QD-OLED X24 target different priorities — one focusing on automated protection, the other on core display value.

Top features: brighter, tougher, and built to last

Both models use MSI's 5-layer Tandem OLED design with EL Gen 3 tech, which stacks multiple light-emitting layers to deliver higher brightness while spreading electrical load across the panel. The result: improved luminous efficiency and reduced pixel stress, a critical benefit for OLED panels prone to burn-in from static images.

MSI also adds DarkArmor Film to the screens to fix a common QD-OLED quirk — purple or reddish tints under certain ambient lighting. The coating boosts perceived black levels by roughly 40%, sharpening contrast and color depth, and raises surface hardness from 2H to 3H for about 2.5x better scratch resistance in everyday use.

The MPG 322UR QD-OLED X24 is the premium option. It includes an AI Care Sensor driven by an on-board NPU that detects human presence in real time. When no user is detected, the monitor can automatically adjust power, activate panel protection, and reduce burn-in risk without you having to change settings manually.

The MAG 321UP QD-OLED X24 keeps the core 5-layer Tandem OLED panel and DarkArmor Film but omits the AI Care Sensor, offering the same display advantages at a simpler feature set — ideal if you want the QD-OLED picture quality without the automated protection features.

QD-OLED combines quantum dots with OLED emitters to widen color gamut and improve accuracy versus WOLED designs. In 32-inch 4K, the panels hit about 140 pixels per inch, a sharp balance for gaming and productivity that keeps text crisp while delivering immersive visuals.

MSI has not yet disclosed pricing or exact launch dates; both monitors are expected to arrive sometime in 2026. Full specifications — including refresh rates, response times, inputs, and stand options — will be announced closer to launch.

For gamers and creators eyeing long-term panel health alongside best-in-class color, MSI's new 32-inch QD-OLEDs promise a compelling mix of brightness, protection, and durability.
