Motorola launched the Signature at CES 2026 as the brand’s first ultra-premium handset, positioned above the Razr Fold. It packs flagship components across display, cameras and core hardware while promising long-term software support.

A display built for speed and color

The Signature sports a 6.8-inch AMOLED panel with a blazing 165Hz refresh rate and Full HD+ resolution. Motorola claims up to 6,200 nits peak brightness, Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection, and support for Dolby Vision and HDR10+. Pantone Color and SkinTone certifications aim to deliver accurate color for photos and video.

A camera trio that aims high

Photography is a headline feature: a 50MP Sony Lytia 828 main sensor with OIS and an f/1.6 aperture handles most shots. It's flanked by a 50MP ultrawide (122° field of view with macro support) and a 50MP Sony Lytia 600 periscope telephoto offering 3x optical zoom. Selfies come from a 50MP Sony Lytia 500 sensor with autofocus—so high-resolution selfies are part of the package, too.

Under the hood: speed, storage and AI

Performance comes courtesy of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage. The phone runs Android 16 and includes Motorola’s latest Moto AI features. Importantly for longevity, Motorola promises seven years of OS and security updates.

Battery life gets a bump from a 5,200mAh silicon-carbon cell with 90W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. You also get 10W wireless reverse charging and 5W wired reverse charging for topping up accessories on the go.

Build and extras include IP68 and IP69 ingress protection, MIL-STD-810H certification, an in-display fingerprint sensor, dual speakers tuned by Bose with Dolby Atmos, GPS and a three-microphone array. The phone measures 6.99mm thick and weighs 186g. It will be offered in Pantone Carbon and Pantone Martini Olive finishes.

All told, the Motorola Signature is clearly aimed at buyers who want premium display tech, a versatile 50MP-focused camera system, and long software support—features that set it apart in a crowded flagship market.
