Regulators rarely create buzz—but a simple 3C listing in China has a habit of doing exactly that. The latest filing points to an Oppo phone (model PMA110) that’s widely believed to be the upcoming Find X9 Ultra, and it arrives with a detail power users always look for: a bundled 100W charger.
If you’ve been watching Oppo’s release cadence, the timing makes sense. The company is expected to spotlight the Find N6 in China soon, and the Find X9 series looks like it’s lining up right behind it. The Find X9s Pro cleared 3C last month. Now the alleged X9 Ultra has joined it—usually a strong hint that launch prep is moving from rumor to logistics.
A 100W charge clue—and more than one version
The 3C certification ties PMA110 to a 100W charging adapter, suggesting fast wired charging is locked in for at least the standard model. Talk around the supply chain also points to a second variant, expected to add satellite communication—an increasingly common “special edition” feature in China’s premium phone tier.
Wireless charging may also be on the table. Current chatter pegs the Find X9 Ultra at up to 50W wireless charging, which would keep it competitive with other flagship Android phones aimed at the ultra-premium segment.
Just as important for international readers: Oppo has said the Find X9 Ultra is headed for a global release. If the whispers are accurate, it could land outside China in Q2, placing it squarely in the spring/early-summer flagship window.
And yes, the camera story sounds like Oppo is swinging for the fences again. Leaks describe a Hasselblad-tuned quad-camera system led by a 200MP main sensor, paired with a 50MP ultra-wide and two telephoto options—one said to be a 200MP 3x periscope, plus an additional 50MP periscope. On the front, a 50MP selfie camera is also being tipped.
Beyond photography, the rumored spec sheet reads like an all-out flagship: a 6.82-inch 2K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, and a large 7,550mAh battery. If those numbers hold, Oppo could be aiming for the kind of endurance that finally makes “all-day battery” feel conservative.
Where the Find X9s Pro and Find X9s fit in
The Find X9s Pro is also part of the conversation, and it may be the more region-specific play. Reports claim it runs on MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 and could feature an attention-grabbing dual-200MP camera setup alongside a 50MP sensor—but it’s expected to stay China-exclusive.
For global markets, the more likely companion device is the Find X9s. Oppo has already confirmed it will use a Dimensity 9500s chip, and early talk suggests it may be a slightly trimmed version of the Find X9—potentially with different cameras and no wireless charging to keep pricing and positioning tidy. One open question remains: whether the Find X9s will launch in China at all.
For now, the clearest signal is the one the 3C database tends to deliver best: hardware is being finalized, accessories are being registered, and Oppo’s next flagship wave is getting close.
