Ford Motor Company says the Everest is Australia’s best-selling large SUV year to date, and the model receives a modest wave of changes for the 2027 model year, including a new limited-edition Wolftrak. Published 7 Oct 2026 • By Aurel Niculescu.
The entry-level 2027 Everest Active 2.0L gains optional cloth upholstery for the five-seat configuration at no extra cost. Active and Sport grades can now be specified with Ford’s high-end synthetic leather, ActiveX. At the top of the range, the Everest Platinum adds debossed "Platinum" branding to the front seats.
Ford has also refreshed its paint choices. Desert Island Blue joins the palette for Sport and Tremor models. Blue Lightning has been dropped, while Traction Green is introduced as an exclusive colour for the Wolftrak limited series.

Wolftrak limited edition brings bold styling and off-road cues
The 2027 Everest Wolftrak is a sibling to the limited-edition Ranger Wolftrak and arrives with a distinct visual package. The special edition sits on bespoke 20-inch black alloy wheels and wears black, Traction Green and Lime Zest accents across the exterior. Inside, the Wolftrak builds on the Sport specification with leather-accented trim and Traction Green detailing, plus heated and ventilated electrically adjustable front seats embroidered with a Lime Zest "Wolftrak" motif.

Exterior changes borrow Tremor’s off-road-inspired elements: a honeycomb front grille, blacked-out door handles, mirrors and fender flares, a black-painted roof and black "Everest" lettering on the hood. The standard wheel-and-tyre fitment is 20-inch black alloys with all-season tyres, and customers can opt for 17-inch alloy wheels shod with all-terrain tyres.

Wolftrak is offered in no-cost premium paints Command Grey, Shadow Black or the Wolftrak-exclusive Traction Green. The model is available with both 2.0-litre and 3.0-litre diesel engines and comes with Ford’s Premium Towing Pack, plus Tow Haul mode and Pro Trailer Backup Assist as standard equipment on the special edition.
Pricing in Australia starts at AU$58,990 (approximately US$41,000) for the Active 2.0L. The Wolftrak begins at AU$71,990 (approximately US$50,000) or AU$79,990 (approximately US$56,000) depending on engine choice.
