The Motorola Razr 2026 has barely had time to breathe, and already the leaks have taken the cover off almost everything. With the April 29 launch still ahead, a retailer listing out of Russia has now filled in the blanks on Motorola’s next flip phone, and the picture is starting to look very clear.
At first glance, the Razr 2026 does not seem to be chasing a dramatic redesign. That part was already spoiled by earlier leaks. What matters now is what Motorola has changed underneath the familiar foldable shell. And there are a few notable updates.
According to the listing, the phone will arrive in gray, green, and white, with a possible pink version also in the mix. The display setup stays close to last year’s formula, which is no bad thing. The main screen is listed as a 6.9-inch LTPO AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and 2640 x 1080 resolution, while the outer display remains a 3.6-inch panel with a 90Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 1,700 nits. Motorola clearly knows the cover screen is one of the Razr’s strongest selling points, so it has wisely left a good thing alone.
The real upgrade comes from the chip. The Razr 2026 is tipped to run on the MediaTek Dimensity 7450X, paired with 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. That still places it below the true flagship tier, but it should give the new model a smoother, more confident feel than its predecessor.

Battery life may be the biggest reason to pay attention here. The leak points to a 4,800mAh battery, up from 4,500mAh on the Razr 2025. In a flip phone, that extra capacity matters more than it might on paper. Foldables have long had to make peace with smaller batteries, so any meaningful gain is worth celebrating.
Charging speeds, however, appear unchanged. The Razr 2026 is still listed with 30W wired charging and 15W wireless charging. Not exciting, but not surprising either.
The camera setup looks familiar too, with a 50MP plus 50MP rear system and a 32MP selfie camera. That combination should keep the Razr in line with what buyers expect from a premium foldable that wants to look stylish without completely neglecting imaging.
Motorola is also said to be giving the phone an IP48 rating, which should offer some added protection against dust and water. It is not the kind of ruggedness that turns a foldable into a tank, but it is a welcome layer of reassurance.
On the software side, the device is expected to launch with Android 16 and Motorola’s Hello UI, alongside Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and support for both SIM and eSIM. In other words, the essentials are all here.
The only real question left may be the price. A fresh leak suggests the Motorola Razr 2026 could land at $799.99, which would make it $100 more expensive than last year’s model. If that figure holds, Motorola will be betting that the bigger battery and updated internals are enough to justify the jump.

Is this even true? 3.6in cover screen 1700 nits sounds great but 30W charging still? feels like a missed opportunity, price hike too...

Wow, battery upgrade AND Dimensity? Finally something sensible. But $800? Might be worth it if real. hope hinge lasts tho, fingers crossed
