Brabus has spent years building ferocious V8 machines that seem designed to bend physics. So its latest move feels almost mischievous: three electric motorcycles, all aimed squarely at city streets rather than open-road bragging rights.
The new lineup, created with French motorcycle maker DAB, includes the DAB 1a Brabus, the Brabus Urban E, and the Brabus Urban E First Edition. At a glance, they look like compact design objects with wheels, but under the sharp bodywork they are very much about short-range urban mobility.
Each model starts with the same DAB 1a platform, then goes in a different direction. The entry version, the DAB 1a Brabus, wears an all-black finish with exposed carbon fiber on the belly pan, front fender, and engine cover inserts. Matte black wheel covers and an Alcantara seat with gray stitching give it the kind of stealthy presence Brabus knows so well.
Its hardware is modest by motorcycle standards, but not exactly shy for an electric commuter. A 7.1 kWh lithium-ion battery feeds a rear-mounted electric motor rated at 31 hp and 395 Nm of torque. Brabus claims a top speed of 150 km/h and says the battery can be charged from 20 to 100 percent in about three hours from a standard household outlet.

More power, more attitude
The Brabus Urban E turns the dial up a notch. Output rises to 37 hp, while torque climbs to 475 Nm, giving the bike a stronger punch off the line. It also gets carbon-fiber air ducts on the left side and around the motor to help with cooling, even though the battery remains unchanged.
Visually, the Urban E leans harder into the Brabus playbook. Gloss-black surfaces are broken up with red accents, carbon-fiber details, and matching wheel covers. Vertical daytime running lights sharpen the front end, while the Supermoto-style handlebar and CNC-machined aluminum levers add a more purposeful edge. Keyless start, multiple riding modes, and fully adjustable suspension round out the package, along with Brembo brakes.

The mode list is especially playful for a bike in this class: Eco, Street, Sport, Nitrous, and Reverse. Yes, Reverse. It is the kind of feature that makes city parking less of a wrestling match.
The third model, the Urban E First Edition, shares the same equipment as the regular Urban E but dresses it in four limited colors: Peetch, Desert Sand, Superviolet, and Fusion Red. Production is capped at just 10 units for each shade, which will no doubt make it the most collectible of the bunch.
Then comes the part that may raise more than a few eyebrows. Prices start at €16,590 for the DAB 1a Brabus, climb to €20,800 for the Urban E, and reach €32,500 for the First Edition. That puts the range in territory where shoppers could also look at serious sportbikes, including the BMW S 1000 RR, which offers 215 hp and costs less than the priciest Brabus e-bike. Different machines, different missions. But the comparison is hard to ignore.
For riders who want exclusivity, Brabus branding, and electric style with a heavy dose of urban attitude, these new bikes make a clear statement. They are not built to chase superbikes. They are built to stand out at every traffic light.

Nice styling but feels overhyped. 150 km/h for city commuting and priced like a superbike? hmm. Reverse is clever tho, parking win

Brabus selling premium e-scooters at 32k? lol, 31hp and 395Nm but only urban range, is this just branding for rich city flexers or am I missing something...
