Mansory Gives Zeekr’s 9X a Wild Beijing Debut

4 Minutes

Some luxury SUVs whisper. This one has decided to shout.

At the Beijing Auto Show, Mansory unveiled its first known take on a Chinese vehicle, and it did not pick something modest. The tuner went straight for the Zeekr 9X, the brand’s ultra-luxury flagship SUV, a model already impossible to ignore in standard form. Now it looks even more theatrical, more aggressive, and far less restrained.

That choice feels deliberate. The Zeekr 9X has been positioned as a serious homegrown rival to the Rolls-Royce Cullinan, offering vast road presence, a lavish cabin, and headline-grabbing performance at a far more accessible level. In Europe, its expected price lands around €128,000, which places it in rarefied company while still sitting well below the British aristocrat it so clearly challenges.

Mansory, of course, saw room to turn up the volume. Up front, the original chrome grille has been replaced by an even bolder design that leans harder into that upright, formal luxury SUV look. A more sculpted front bumper adds visual drama, while a lower splitter integrates slim daytime running lights. The hood has also been redesigned, giving the 9X an even heavier, more commanding face.

From the side, the standard Zeekr 9X had a cleaner, more elegant balance. That chapter is over. Mansory has fitted white 24 inch wheels, widened the arches, extended the side skirts, and added retractable side steps. Carbon fiber detailing appears around the D-pillars, breaking up the bodywork with the tuner’s usual flair for contrast and excess.

The rear keeps the same theme alive. There is now a large roof spoiler, joined by a subtler lip spoiler on the tailgate. Lower down, a new bumper brings a diffuser-style treatment and quad tailpipes, details that push the 9X closer to performance SUV territory, even if its core identity remains pure high-end luxury. The white-and-bronze exterior finish seals the look, making sure nobody mistakes it for the standard car in a hotel forecourt.

Inside, the drama continues

The cabin was never exactly short on opulence, but Mansory has gone after it with its usual maximalist touch. White leather now covers the seats, dashboard, steering wheel, door panels, and center tunnel, while gold accents lift the sense of occasion. Carbon fiber trim pieces have been layered in as well, and black Alcantara across the dashboard adds contrast so the interior does not become visually flat.

It is extravagant. It is unapologetic. And whether you find it dazzling or overdone will probably depend on how much attention you think a luxury SUV should attract.

One thing Mansory wisely left alone is the powertrain. The Zeekr 9X hardly needed help in that department. In flagship form, it combines a plug in hybrid 2.0 liter turbocharged four cylinder engine with three electric motors for a staggering 1,381 hp. That is enough to launch this full-size luxury SUV from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.1 seconds.

So yes, the Zeekr 9X was already an outrageous machine before Mansory got involved. Now it feels like a statement piece designed for buyers who think subtlety is wildly overrated.

Wait 1,381 hp? On a 2.0 turbo PHEV? Is that number legit or just marketing fluff? Looks wild tho, Mansory went full theatrical.

Holy moly, Mansory went berserk on the Zeekr 9X. It's like a tuxedo screaming in a nightclub, but damn that power. Too extra? maybe, but iconic.
