The renders, published by Digimods Design on YouTube, show a generic and uninspired take on what many expect will be Audi's entry-level EV, often referred to in the press as the A2 e-tron.
While the name A2 e-tron is not officially confirmed, it makes sense historically and logically. Audi's original A2 small MPV was produced between 1999 and 2005, penned by Luc Donckerwolke, and the revival of the A2 nameplate for a compact electric model fits Audi's naming patterns. That said, the car could still wear a different badge — some reports suggest Q2 e-tron as an alternative — until Audi makes a final announcement.

What the prototypes show vs what the CGI got wrong
