Hold the phone. The Galaxy A27 5G looks familiar at first glance, then it doesn’t. Samsung has taken the safe, mid-range recipe and shaved the edges—literally. Thinner bezels, a cleaner punch-hole selfie cutout, and a refreshed look that tips the hat to pricier models.
The screen remains a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED with a 120Hz refresh rate, but Samsung is calling the new panel the Infinixy-O display. What matters is the result: more uninterrupted screen and a less fussy front camera. Small change, noticeable feel.
Small tweaks, measurable gains
Under the hood the A27 switches to a 4nm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3. It’s not a leap into flagship territory, but it does deliver a 10 to 20 percent responsiveness bump over the A26’s 5nm Exynos 1380. Boots feel quicker. Apps open with less hesitation. For everyday users, that adds up.
Battery life stays conservative and deliberate: 5,000mAh with 25W charging. In other words, you should sail through a day and then some. Camera pack remains practical rather than headline-grabbing—a 50MP main with OIS, a 5MP ultrawide, and a 2MP macro. Selfies use a 12MP front shooter.

Colors are playful: Black, Blue, Light Green, and Light Pink. The phone will land on July 3 in Europe. It starts from €350 in Germany, and the United States price converts to about €330. The US sale date is July 14.
Samsung hasn’t reinvented the mid-range wheel here. Instead, the company focused on polish: a sleeker face, a nudge in performance, and a conservative spec sheet that keeps battery and cameras reliable. If you want a tasteful, dependable 5G handset without flagship pricing fuss, the A27 is an easy candidate.
