OnePlus is reviving its entry-level tablet line with the Pad Go 2, a surprisingly ambitious update that pairs a tall 2.8K screen with a huge battery and the series' first stylus. The company has teased key specs ahead of an India launch, so here’s what to expect.
Big screen, long life, and a new stylus
The Pad Go 2 moves beyond the usual budget-tablet compromises. It sports a 12.1-inch display at 2800 x 1980 resolution (2.8K), a 7:5 aspect ratio and peak brightness of 900 nits. OnePlus highlights Dolby Vision support and TÜV Rheinland Intelligent Eye Care 4.0 certification, plus 98% DCI-P3 color coverage—promises aimed at media fans who want vibrant, punchy visuals on a taller canvas.
Notably, OnePlus is introducing the Pad Go 2 Stylo — the first stylus for the Go family — which targets note-taking and light creative workflows. The tablet also debuts Open Canvas, a software layer that improves window switching and split-screen multitasking, making the device more useful for productivity and creative tasks.

Performance, battery and real-world use
Under the hood there's a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultra chipset built on a 4nm process, a chip that balances power efficiency with capable everyday performance. OnePlus pairs this silicon with an enormous 10,050mAh battery that supports 33W wired charging and even 6.5W reverse charging. The company claims up to 15 hours of video playback, roughly 53 hours of music, and about 60 days of standby—numbers that underline the Pad Go 2's focus on endurance.
On top of the core hardware, OnePlus adds an AI-powered toolset to enhance photography, productivity and battery management. For buyers who prioritize display quality, long runtimes and stylus support in an affordable package, this tablet looks promising.
OnePlus will unveil the Pad Go 2 in India on December 17, 2025, with the first sale starting December 18. The tablet will arrive alongside the OnePlus 15R and the OnePlus Watch Lite.
