Xiaomi Mijia Electric Shaver Pro: Dual-Ring, 95-Day Battery

Xiaomi has expanded its smart-lifestyle lineup with the Mijia Electric Shaver Pro, a flagship-grade trimmer designed to balance cutting performance with skin comfort. Launched in China at 469 yuan (about $66), the shaver focuses on longer runtime, gentler shaving for sensitive skin, and intelligent sensing.

Flagship features built around comfort and control

At the heart of the Mijia Electric Shaver Pro is a triple-head rotary array where each head uses a dual-ring corrugated foil. That dual-ring design increases the cutting surface and helps capture more hairs in fewer passes — useful if you want a quick morning trim. To further reduce irritation, Xiaomi coated the foils with a micro-bead guide and chose low-nickel stainless steel, a small but meaningful touch for those with reactive skin.

Under the skin, two concave stainless-steel inner blades—manufactured using MIM metal injection molding—work in tandem with the outer foils to form what Xiaomi calls a beard-locking system. The coordinated motion improves cutting consistency and lowers the chance of tugging compared with older straight-slot foil designs.

The shaver is driven by a high-speed motor capable of up to five million cutting actions per minute, and an onboard intelligent chip checks beard density 100 times per second to adjust power delivery on the fly. Users can choose between standard and enhanced modes (around 2,900 rpm and 3,100 rpm respectively) depending on how coarse their facial hair is.

Adaptable head, safety sensors and a smart display

The 360-degree omnidirectional floating head adapts to jawlines and contours, allowing vertical, lateral, angled and swing movements to reduce missed spots. An intelligent pressure sensor warns you when you press too hard by changing a rear light ring’s color in real time — a handy feature to prevent nicks and irritation.

Xiaomi also added a dynamic color display that shows shaving mode, battery level, travel lock status and maintenance reminders so you know when to clean or replace parts. The shaver supports both dry and wet shaving and carries an IPX8 water-resistance rating for safe rinsing under the tap.
