HMD has debuted the Vibe2 Pro in India, a midrange handset that pairs a 64MP Sony main camera with a 6,000mAh battery while running Android 16 and offering India-specific AI tools.

Hardware, display and cameras

The Vibe2 Pro is built around the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset and a 6.78-inch LCD panel with Full-HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. At the back, HMD uses a 64MP main sensor identified as the Sony IMX682, accompanied by a 2MP macro camera. A 13MP front-facing camera handles selfies and video calls.

Battery, software and extras

The phone houses a 6,000mAh battery with support for 33W wired charging and ships with Android 16, including HMD's India-specific AI tools. The Vibe2 Pro also includes a range of common midrange features:

  • 3.5mm headphone jack
  • Side-mounted fingerprint scanner
  • microSD card slot for storage expansion
  • Stereo speakers and USB Type-C port
  • 5G connectivity, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3 and GPS

HMD is offering the Vibe2 Pro in Aqua Green, Cosmic Purple and Silver Mist. Pricing in India starts at INR 14,999 for the 6GB/128GB model and INR 16,999 for the 8GB/128GB variant. The phone will be available for purchase on Flipkart starting October 8.
