The company cited USD equivalents alongside the yuan prices: CNY 6,499 is shown as $968, the special CNY 5,999 price as $893 and the subsidy-reduced CNY 5,499 as $819. The pricing published by Li Jian applies specifically to the Magic9 model configured with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.

For comparison, the recently launched vivo X500 is priced at CNY 5,999, or $893, for a 12GB/512GB configuration and does not offer a 16GB option. The directly comparable 16/512GB vivo X500 Pro is listed at CNY 7,999, or $1,191, the same price as the Xiaomi 18 Pro, while the Oppo Find X10 is priced at CNY 6,499, or $968.

The Magic9 has been rumored to sport a 6.37-inch 1236 by 2664 LTPS OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC.
