Honor said the Magic9 Pro Max will include a cinematic microphone, support a teleconverter, and carry ARRI branding and color science.

Han Han, Honor's "imaging innovator," published examples of how the cinematic mic delivers a dynamic sound experience in daily life.

Honor says the mic captures sounds both near and far and renders them crystal clear, citing examples such as fried food, a coffee machine, and clothes flapping in the distance.

Honor also displays ARRI branding and says the phone will incorporate ARRI's color science, "making everyday life feel like a movie," the company says.

The Magic9 Pro Max will support a teleconverter; images released by Honor show the teleconverter attaching without covering the other two cameras.

Honor has revealed pricing for the vanilla Magic9; the Magic9 Pro Max will definitely be more expensive than that.

Honor is unveiling the Magic9 series on September 28; the company says all details will be revealed on Monday.
