Honor Watch 6 Pro: 1.5-inch dual-layer OLED and CGM

The Honor Watch 6 Pro features a 1.5-inch dual-layer OLED display at 466 x 466 pixels, with a peak global brightness of 4,500 nits and up to 5,500 nits when a smaller region of the screen is active.

Honor presented the Watch 6 Pro as a more feature-focused addition to its wearable lineup, trading some of the battery endurance of the standard Watch 6 family for advanced sensors and tracking. A few months earlier Honor introduced the Watch 6, which measured 10.8 mm thick and included a 980 mAh battery rated for up to 35 days of typical use, plus a Watch 6 Plus with a 1,000 mAh Si/C battery.

The Pro measures 46.3 mm x 46.3 mm x 11.6 mm and carries a stainless steel bezel.

Health and tracking

Health features are central to the Pro. Honor lists 24/7 heart rate variability tracking, a second-generation blood pressure monitoring system and a Continuous Glucose Monitoring blood sugar monitor. The watch supports crash detection and includes a cardiac arrest detection function that can send an alarm if the device stops detecting a pulse.

Positioning uses Honor Polaris with a dual-frequency, three-antenna design intended to maintain stable reception in dense urban areas, and the watch can record up to 21 hours of continuous position tracking. Sports modes include Trail Running Mode, Professional Badminton Mode and Professional Football Mode. The device is swim-capable and the display can respond to wet fingers.

Battery, materials and availability

The Watch 6 Pro houses a 500 mAh battery. Honor states the watch can last seven days with Always On Display enabled, or up to four days if all health-tracking features are active; in max battery mode the company rates runtime at up to 18 days. Compared with the Watch 5 Pro, Honor highlights all-day HRV tracking, blood sugar monitoring and cardiac arrest detection in addition to the dual-layer OLED.

The body is stainless steel, and some configurations use a two-tone ceramic that is sintered onto the metal at 1,400 degrees Celsius, a process Honor describes as more durable than painted finishes. The watch is offered in five color and strap combinations. The stainless steel model is on pre-order in China for CNY 1,600 ($240 / £180 / €210 / ₹23,000), while the version with sintered ceramic is CNY 1,800 ($270 / £200 / €235 / ₹25,750).
