Motorola hasn’t published a final roster. Still, using the company’s stated update commitments as a guide, the following models should see Android 17 over the coming months. Treat this as a carefully assembled forecast rather than an official list; a few phones could be added later.

Yes, that’s a long list. Good news for owners: if your handset appears above, the upgrade is very likely. Motorola’s policy has predictable windows for major Android upgrades, and most recent models fall squarely inside those windows. That said, we left out devices where the policy was unclear. A couple of older or less common models might still get lucky and receive Android 17, but we couldn’t confirm them with confidence.
When will you actually see the update on your phone? Google usually seeds the new Android version to Pixel devices first. Based on the beta cycle so far and last year’s rhythm, Android 17 looks set for a Google release in June. Expect Motorola to follow a staggered schedule—carriers and regions complicate timing—so a broad Motorola rollout around September is a reasonable bet.
