Elon Musk said he will rename SpaceX's artificial intelligence unit to SpaceXSI and confirmed the change in response to a user on X, writing, "Yes, we will do that."
Musk had earlier posted that he would no longer use the term "AI" and would instead use "SI," meaning superintelligence, because he considered the name better.
The announcement follows remarks last month by Donald Trump at the United Nations General Assembly, where Trump said, "From now on in all US documents and I hope across the world, instead of the word artificial use the much more precise word super; so the name is super intelligence."

SpaceX's official AI account on X still displays the previous name and has not changed to SpaceXSI.
Musk has not published further details or provided a timeline for the name change, and the SpaceX AI unit has not responded to requests for additional comment.
