Nothing Headphone (1) Pro: Triple drivers and 10-mic ANC

The Nothing Headphone (1) Pro ships with a three-driver arrangement: a 40mm dynamic driver for bass, a second precision dynamic driver, and an xMEMS driver with a silicone diaphragm for treble.

Nothing unveiled the Headphone (1) Pro on 29 September 2026 as its new flagship over-ear model, pairing that driver array with an upgraded active noise cancellation system and a glass-and-metal build.

Audio and noise cancellation

The headphones support Dynamic Spatial Audio with head tracking and multiple listening modes labelled Standard, Live House, Club, Concert Hall, and a special mode based on Studio B by Metropolis Studios. Nothing also states the Headphone (1) Pro carries Hi-Res Audio certification. For ANC, the company says it uses a total of 10 microphones and claims up to a maximum of 46 dB of noise reduction.

The codec set includes AAC, SBC, LDAC, and LC3.

Design and fit

Visually similar to the original Headphone (1), the Headphone (1) Pro replaces the outer shell with a scratch-resistant glass enclosure and uses lightweight titanium components alongside an aluminium frame. Padding thickness has been increased, the headband is 10% wider than on the Headphone (1), the cups are more flexible, and the cushions are described as softer than before. The headset is rated IP52 and includes tactile switches plus a dedicated Switch button that toggles a Flat EQ.

Connectivity and battery

The Headphone (1) Pro supports Bluetooth 6.1 with Google Fast Pair and Microsoft Swift Pair, instant setup on Apple devices, dual-device connectivity, a low-latency mode, and auto-wear detection. Nothing specifies a 1,060 mAh battery that it claims can deliver up to 30 hours of playback with ANC enabled and up to 68 hours with ANC disabled; the headphones support fast charging over USB-C.

The headphones are offered in Black and White, weigh 327 g, and ship with a padded carrying case.
