Wall Street firms pile into Ripple spot ETFs

Institutional appetite for spot Ripple ETFs is becoming increasingly visible across major Wall Street portfolios. Bloomberg data for Q2 2026 shows that Goldman Sachs, Jane Street and Millennium Management were the largest reported holders of these ETFs, highlighting growing institutional exposure to XRP through regulated investment products.

Goldman Sachs tops the leaderboard

Goldman Sachs leads the pack with approximately $87.4 million invested, equal to about 84 million XRP. Jane Street follows with roughly $16.6 million and Millennium Management with about $16.2 million. Total identified institutional positions in Ripple spot ETFs amount to around $183.5 million, of which $120.9 million are held by investment advisers.

ETF flows and market implications

Institutional demand has coincided with sizable inflows into Ripple ETFs. In the week ending August 28, these products received about $110.5 million in new capital. Cumulative net inflows into Ripple spot ETFs are now estimated near $1.67 billion, underscoring the role of ETFs in channeling institutional dollars into the XRP market.

Price action and technical outlook

Despite strong ETF flows, XRP has shown notable volatility. After climbing to roughly $1.70, the token retraced toward $1.40, sliding nearly 9% over a week. Traders are watching short-term support in the $1.35 to $1.38 band and resistance near $1.60. For retail investors, continued institutional buying signals long-term confidence in spot Ripple ETFs, but recent price moves illustrate that ETF demand does not eliminate short-term crypto volatility.

As regulated spot ETFs continue to attract institutional capital, market participants should monitor ETF inflows, on-chain metrics and macro liquidity for their combined impact on XRP price dynamics.
