Xiaomi launched the 18 Pro series in China last week, but the standard Xiaomi 18 was not part of that announcement. According to tipster 'Panda is Bald' on Weibo, the base variant is expected to arrive separately in December and the leaker has posted a complete set of specifications.

Reported hardware and optics

The report says the standard Xiaomi 18 will also carry a dual 200MP rear camera setup, matching the Xiaomi 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max. The primary sensor is listed as a 1/1.28 inch 200MP unit, joined by a 200MP periscope telephoto camera offering 3x optical zoom. The handset is also said to include a 50MP ultrawide camera.

Under the hood the phone is tipped to run on Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 chipset and to use a 6.4 inch M11 display with a 1.5K resolution. Battery capacity is reported at 7,200mAh with support for 100W wired charging.

The tipster reiterated that Xiaomi plans to launch the smartphone in December.
