Steam has opened voting for the Steam Awards 2025, inviting PC players worldwide to nominate and vote for the year’s standout games. This year’s community-driven contest is back, and the choices you make will shape the winners across multiple categories.
What to know and how to vote
The Steam Awards are decided entirely by user votes across eleven categories. To help players, Steam suggests several popular titles in each category, but you’re free to pick other eligible games you feel deserve recognition.
Most categories require that nominated games were released during 2025. The one notable exception is the Labour of Love award: almost any game can be chosen for this category as long as it was released before last year’s Autumn Sale and hasn’t previously won the prize.
