Xiaomi has rolled the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ out to international markets, but it is not a mirror of the Chinese release. The global model brings some notable hardware swaps that change the balance between camera, battery and build.
What changed for the global Redmi Note 15 Pro+?
The headline is the camera. The international variant upgrades to a 200MP HPE primary sensor with 2x and 4x in-sensor zoom, and a lens tuned for five focal lengths ranging roughly from 23mm to 92mm. The ultrawide remains an 8MP unit, but Xiaomi dropped the 50MP telephoto camera used in the Chinese model.
Battery and charging are shuffled too. Instead of the 7,000 mAh cell on the Chinese release, the global Note 15 Pro+ uses a 6,500 mAh Si/C battery that supports 100W wired charging and 22.5W reverse wired charging. Oddly, despite the smaller capacity, the international phone is thicker than its Chinese sibling.

The display keeps the same generous 6.83-inch diagonal, 120Hz refresh rate and an extreme peak brightness rating of 3,200 nits. Resolution is tweaked slightly to 2772 x 1280 pixels on the international model versus 2772 x 1220 pixels on the Chinese unit. Xiaomi also upgraded screen protection to Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 for the global device, where the Chinese model shipped with Dragon Crystal glass.
Under the hood the platform is unchanged: Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 powers both models. Software and connectivity features align as well, with a 32MP front camera, HyperOS, Bluetooth 5.4 and NFC all onboard.
Other practical features include an in-display fingerprint scanner, dual speakers tuned for Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res audio, and eSIM support. Xiaomi also highlights extensive ingress protection ratings (IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K) and adds Offline Communication for kilometer-level device-to-device voice when there is no network. The company has thrown in the Xiaomi Surge T1S tuner too, promising better signal stability for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and cellular connections.

Color choices for international buyers are Black, Mocha Brown and Glacier Blue. Xiaomi lists memory configurations and pricing that place the handset competitively: pre-orders start January 5, with the base launch price at around €499/£429 and the top 12/512GB trim near €549/£479.
In short, the global Redmi Note 15 Pro+ swaps a higher-capacity battery and a telephoto camera for a higher-resolution primary sensor, faster wired charging and tougher glass. If camera resolution and charging speed matter more to you than sheer battery size, this variant could be the better pick.
