CGI Reveals WL Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT Design Concept

Digital artist Andrei Avarvarii of Avarvarii Automotive Artworks published a CGI rendering on 22 September 2026 that imagines a WL-generation Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT. Jeep has not announced an SRT or a Trackhawk successor.

Jeep recently launched the 2027 Wrangler JL-2A and a 2027 Wrangler Smoky Mountain special edition at the 14th annual Smoky Mountain Invasion in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, the tenth installment in the company’s Twelve 4 Twelve Wrangler and Gladiator series.

The company said the next-generation Jeep Cherokee will be built on the Stellantis STLA One modular platform. Jeep also updated the 2027 Grand Cherokee lineup, adding Trailhawk, Overland and Upland trims with a stated focus on capability and premium features.

Current Grand Cherokee powertrains for 2027 include the 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 on Laredo and Laredo X, and a 2.0-liter Hurricane 4 turbocharged four-cylinder on Laredo Altitude and higher grades. The official lineup does not include an SRT model.

Avarvarii’s rendering revises exterior details: a reworked hood with intakes, a larger seven-slot grille extending into the bumper, relocated LED daytime running lights and LED fog lights, and a more aggressive front bumper with integrated aero canards.

The CGI shows new side sills with canards, a dual-tone finish with striping, black wheels, crimson brake calipers and a quad exhaust set into a reworked rear bumper.

The rendering includes no powertrain information. Observers note that an SRT-badged Grand Cherokee would typically use a V8; the CGI author offers no engine claim. The piece rules out an explicit Hellcat 6.2-liter supercharged Hemi and suggests alternatives such as the Ram Rumble Bee’s base 5.7-liter Hemi V8 with 395 hp or the 392 Apache Hemi V8 with 470 hp instead of the 2.0-liter Hurricane turbo with 324 hp or the Pentastar V6 with 293 hp.
