Fitbit Edge leak reveals specs, colors and EU - UK prices

A new leak lists the Fitbit Edge's EU and UK prices, colors and full specifications.

The leak names a €179 price for the eurozone and £159 for the UK. The tracker is said to arrive in four colors that match Pixel Watch 5 options: Obsidian and Matte Black, Olive and Satin Pyrite, Canyon and Champagne Gold, and Fog and Polished Silver.

The device reportedly has a 1.34-inch AMOLED display and Bluetooth 5.4. Sensors and connectivity include GPS, an accelerometer, a barometer, a gyroscope, a heart rate sensor, SpO2 monitoring, ECG sensors, an ambient light sensor and a step counter.

The tracker will, according to the leak, monitor steps, heart rate, distance, calories burned, sleep, the menstrual cycle, SpO2 and skin temperature, and record ECG data. The device is also said to detect atrial fibrillation, irregular heart rhythms, cardiac load, fitness level and VO2 max.

Fitbit Edge will include more than 40 built-in exercise modes and support automatic activity detection. It is reported to run Fitbit OS and offer personalized coaching via Gemini.

Battery life is advertised by Google at seven days and drops to two days with the Always-on display. The leak states charging takes about two hours.

The tracker is claimed to be rated 5ATM and IP68 for dust and water resistance. Dimensions are listed as 11.58 millimeters thick, 39.22 millimeters tall and 25.56 millimeters wide, with a weight of 17.7 grams.

Google first revealed the device in promotional material in August, and the Fitbit Edge name and renders surfaced in a separate leak yesterday.

It remains unclear when Google will officially announce the Fitbit Edge; the leak suggests it could be positioned as a successor to the Fitbit Charge 6 based on the reported pricing.
