CGI renders circulating on Instagram depict a fictional base-spec Lamborghini Urus SE Performante fitted with a 1.9-liter TDI diesel, a five-speed manual gearbox and steel wheels.
The images were posted by Instagram user @steelies4life and appear to be digital mock-ups rather than an official Lamborghini release.
The renders show cost-saving exterior changes including plastic front and rear bumpers, plastic side skirts and wheel arches, plastic door mirrors, black door handles, and black roof and tailgate spoilers. Headlamps are shown as halogen units and the taillights as basic assemblies with visible bulbs behind plastic covers. The OEM exhaust shown on production models is replaced in the renders by a single-pipe system.
Interior details in the CGI models are deliberately spartan: gray cloth seats, gray plastics, manual windows, a Skoda-branded CD player, manual handbrake, a large gear lever, three pedals, a steering wheel without buttons, and no visible air conditioning. The images include no indication that the renders represent a production intent.
The actual Lamborghini Urus SE Performante is an electrified performance SUV. Lamborghini equips it with an electrified 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 paired to a ZF eight-speed automatic with an integrated electric motor, producing 801 hp (812 ps/597 kW) and 738 lb-ft (1,000 Nm) of torque in total.
Lamborghini rates the Urus SE Performante for 37 miles (60 km) of electric driving on the WLTP cycle. Curb weight is 5,452 lb (about 2.5 tonnes), roughly 710 lb (320+ kg) heavier than the previous non-electrified Performante.
Performance figures for the production model include 0-62 mph (0-100 kph) in 3.3 seconds and a top speed of 194 mph (312 kph). Lamborghini added a Rally drive mode to the model, joining EV, Corsa, Sport and Strada, and revised bodywork that includes new carbon panels, a widened track and measures to reduce body roll.
Lamborghini says the new SE Performante is 12 hp (12 ps/9 kW) more powerful than the previous Urus SE, 144 hp (146 ps/107 kW) up on the Urus S and Urus Performante, and 160 hp (162 ps/119 kW) more than the original pre-facelift Urus.
U.S. pricing has not been officially announced. Market commentary places a likely starting point north of $300,000, with an approximate figure of $320,000 mentioned by industry sources; the prior Urus SE carried an MSRP near a quarter of a million dollars for the 2026 model year.
The Urus line will reach its tenth year in 2027. The model rides on the Volkswagen Group MLB Evo architecture shared with vehicles such as the Bentley Bentayga, older Audi Q7 and Volkswagen Touareg. The Urus is Lamborghini's second high-rider after the LM002.
The Instagram images are speculative renderings and Lamborghini has made no announcement of a diesel or manual base-spec Urus SE Performante.
