OnePlus has quietly unveiled its new flagship earbuds, the Buds Pro 4, introducing a major audio upgrade, expanded AI features and a long battery life that tops 53 hours with the charging case when active noise cancellation is off. The company revealed the product without a dedicated launch event.

The Buds Pro 4 pair a dual-driver setup with new software tools and adaptive noise cancellation. OnePlus says the audio architecture was developed in collaboration with Dynaudio and promises roughly 50 percent stronger bass than the previous generation.

Audio hardware and software

The headphones use two separate drivers: an 11 millimetre composite woofer and a 6 millimetre planar tweeter, and each driver has its own digital-to-analog converter. Wireless transmission supports the LHDC 5.0 standard for 24-bit audio at a 192 kilohertz sampling rate and includes support for spatial audio with head tracking.

Active noise cancellation is described as adaptive and up to two times more powerful than on the last model. OnePlus highlights automatic sound adjustment to the surrounding environment, three dedicated microphones and a bone conduction VPU sensor to improve call clarity.

The Buds Pro 4 pairs a Dynaudio-tuned dual-driver system with AI features and up to 53 hours of battery life with the case.

Battery figures depend on settings. With noise cancellation turned off, OnePlus says total runtime with the case reaches 53 hours. Enabling ANC and using the AAC codec reduces that combined runtime to about 26 hours, while the earbuds alone can last up to 13 hours. A 10-minute charge is claimed to provide 14 hours of playback. The charging case supports wireless charging, though OnePlus notes the case itself is not water-resistant.

The earbuds carry an IP55 splash resistance rating. Additional software features include live AI translation, access to Google Gemini, neck health monitoring and a quoted 39 millisecond latency when connected to compatible OnePlus phones.

The Buds Pro 4 will be offered in white and titanium grey. OnePlus has not disclosed pricing or an official global release date.
