The Bubble is a 1.73-inch circular AMOLED that attaches magnetically, a MagSafe-like fit that plays nicely with iPhone X and newer models running iOS 15.0 or later. It relays a live feed from the main camera so you can frame shots, check lighting, and catch real expressions instead of relying on the often-flimsy front-facing lens. Want distance control? Tap to trigger the shutter from up to 10 meters away.

It’s lighter than you expect. At roughly 27.5 grams and 7 millimeters thick, the Bubble barely changes pocket feel. Inside sits a 550 mAh battery that Oppo says keeps the screen active for just under ten hours on a single charge. The company pairs the device with a companion app to manage camera preview, firmware updates, and the creative bits that make the accessory more than a utility.

Oppo first introduced the Bubble on its Reno and Find X lines, and this launch marks the first official expansion to iPhones. There are other pocket displays on the market, including modular camera accessories, yet Oppo’s version stands out for its slim profile, reliable magnetic connection, and the emphasis on customization rather than pure utility.

Pre-orders are open now, with sales starting on July 6, priced at about €65.
