Oppo launched the Reno 16t in China on September 28, 2026, with a 200-megapixel triple-camera system and a 6700mAh battery in a compact 6.32-inch body.
The phone uses a 6.32-inch flexible AMOLED display with a 2640×1216 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 460 PPI density and support for 1.07 billion colors. Oppo lists 1800 nits global peak brightness and cites a 3600-nit promotional figure. The panel supports up to 240Hz touch sampling.
The Reno 16t is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8550 Super chipset and ships with 12GB of LPDDR5X or LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. A 6700mAh battery provides power, and the phone supports 80W SuperVOOC and 80W UFCS fast charging.
The rear camera array pairs a 200-megapixel main sensor with OIS, a 50-megapixel ultrawide with a 116-degree field of view and a 50-megapixel telephoto lens with OIS. Oppo advertises up to 3.5x optical zoom and 120x digital zoom.
The front camera is a 50-megapixel autofocus unit that supports 4K video recording, dual-view video and HDR recording, including 4K at 60fps.
Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth, NFC, an in-display optical fingerprint sensor, USB Type-C and dual nano-SIM support. The handset features an AI Plus key on the left edge to access Mind Space. Thickness is 8.36mm, which varies by color, and weight reaches up to 191g. The device carries IP68/IP69K water and dust resistance.
Pricing in China starts at 3,699 Yuan (~$550) for the 12GB+256GB model. Color options are Heartbeat, Galaxy Purple and Moonlight Black. Oppo also offers a 16GB+612GB version.
The company says the Reno 16t closely mirrors the existing Reno 16 in the Chinese market. The Reno 16 is widely available; the Reno 16t costs 200 yuan more and is primarily aimed at the offline market.
