Philips has launched the Sonicare Next-Gen DiamondClean 9900 Prestige at $379.99 in the United States and Europe.

Philips says the smart toothbrush is available to buyers in the US and European markets, with wider global availability scheduled for 2027. At $379.99 the new model is offered below the previous version's $429.99 price and under the $499 price point of the Dyson CameraJet.

Design and control

The DiamondClean 9900 Prestige includes a built-in touchscreen that lets users choose from eight cleaning modes and three intensity levels to match tooth and gum sensitivity, Philips says. The display also presents a 12-zone oral map that uses color changes to show which areas are clean and which require rebrushing.

AI, safety and feedback

A light ring at the base of the handle, working in conjunction with a third-generation AI model and Philips SenseIQ technology, warns users when they apply excessive pressure, the company says. Philips adds the toothbrush can automatically adjust vibration intensity based on a user’s brushing pattern so that the cleaning process is performed with what the company describes as complete safety.
