Pixel 12 series screen resolutions leak via GSMA database

A GSMA database entry spotted on 05 October 2026 lists alleged Pixel 12 model numbers and screen resolutions. The leak shows four resolutions and suggests several Pixel 12 models will be slightly shorter than Pixel 11 counterparts.

A GSM Association database entry has surfaced with alleged Google Pixel 12 model numbers and reported screen resolutions, an unusual leak that includes pixel counts as well as device identifiers, according to a post by Vlad on 05 October 2026 in Google Android Rumors.

GSMA listing and model identifiers

The GSMA entry names four Pixel 12 variants and their model numbers: GC0QU for the Pixel 12, GWU59 for the Pixel 12 Pro, G7U1Y for the Pixel 12 Pro XL, and G4D5D for the Pixel 12 Pro Fold. Google only launched the Pixel 11, Pixel 11 Pro, Pixel 11 Pro XL, and Pixel 11 Pro Fold in August. The GSMA typically lists only model numbers, so it is unclear how pixel-resolution figures appeared in the same record.

Reported screen resolutions and comparisons

  • Pixel 12: 1080 x 2400
  • Pixel 12 Pro: 1280 x 2824
  • Pixel 12 Pro XL: 1344 x 2952
  • Pixel 12 Pro Fold (inner display): 2296 x 2404

According to the report, the Pixel 12, Pixel 12 Pro, and Pixel 12 Pro XL retain the same horizontal pixel counts as their Pixel 11 counterparts while reducing vertical pixel counts, which would make those models slightly less tall than the previous generation. The Pixel 12 Pro Fold's inner panel is said to be roughly 10% wider than the Pixel 11 Pro Fold.

Uncertainty and timing

As noted in the original post on 05 October 2026, the presence of resolution data in a GSMA entry is atypical and the origin of that detail remains unresolved. With the Pixel 12 family probably around ten months away from an official unveiling, additional leaks and confirmations may emerge before Google announces the devices.
