Samsung Display is preparing to start mass production of the AMOLED panels for the Galaxy S27 family this month, according to a separate report from Korea.
Earlier today we reported that Samsung has apparently started mass producing the Exynos 2700 chipset expected for the Galaxy S27 series. The panel report supplements that chipset update with production timing and volume targets for the displays.
The lineup is again reported to include four models: a 6.27-inch Galaxy S27, a 6.66-inch Galaxy S27+, a 6.47-inch Galaxy S27 Pro, and a 6.89-inch Galaxy S27 Ultra.

Production targets and timing
Samsung Display reportedly expects to supply about 10 percent more panels for the Galaxy S27 family than it did for the Galaxy S26 family, with an annual shipment target between 47 million and 48 million units. The shipment target for the Galaxy S26 devices was in the "low 40 million range," the report says.
Samsung Display's annual shipment target for S27 panels is between 47 million and 48 million units.
The report alleges Samsung wants Samsung Display to ship 2 to 3 million panels for the Galaxy S27 Pro this year and 4 to 5 million units next year. That schedule does not mean the devices will launch in 2026; the company reportedly wants the displays ready for assembly in early 2027, which the report describes as the most likely launch window for the four S27 models.
The same report also "confirmed" that both the Galaxy S27 Pro and the Galaxy S27 Ultra will include the Privacy Display feature first introduced on the Galaxy S26 Ultra.
