Observers quickly flagged signs that the renders may have been produced with generative AI. So the visuals are suspect. The color claim is still in play.

Then Bloomberg's Mark Gurman pushed back, saying a red iPhone Ultra will not ship. Two respected sources. Two different takes. Who do you trust? Short answer: wait for Apple to speak.

Red is not a random pick. Apple brought back a red iPhone in 2022, and the hue carries marketing weight. A red foldable would be a clear statement: this is a fashion-forward product, not just an engineering demo.

Other rumors have been all over the map. Some insiders suggested the foldable might arrive only in white. Others floated color palettes for the next iPhone 18 Pro including dark red, bright blue, silver and a possible space gray. The lack of consensus tells you how tentative these leaks are.
