Leaker @ZionsAvin shared a C3 certification listing showing Samsung's unannounced Galaxy A58 (model SM-A5860) supports up to 45W charging.

The listing appears in the Chinese certification body C3's database and was posted on X by @ZionsAvin. Samsung has not confirmed the detail. The A58 is not expected to launch before at least February 2027.

If accurate, the A58 would match the Galaxy A56 and A57 at 45W and continue a recent pattern of Samsung's mid-range phones charging faster than its base flagships. The Galaxy S25 and S26 have charged at up to 25W, and current rumors indicate the Galaxy S27 will likely remain at that speed.

The C3 entry does not list battery capacity. The A56 and A57 both used 5,000 mAh batteries, and some reports suggest the A58 could adopt a silicon-carbon battery with higher capacity, but that is unconfirmed.

PhoneArena's battery tests found the Galaxy A57's charging times were largely similar to the Galaxy S26 despite the S26's smaller 4,300 mAh battery. The site recorded these results: Galaxy A57 (5,000 mAh) — estimate 6h 11min, browsing 13h 33min, video 8h 52min, gaming 9h 52min; Galaxy S26 (4,300 mAh) — estimate 6h 37min, browsing 15h 48min, video 8h 54min, gaming 10h 6min; Galaxy S26+ (4,900 mAh) — estimate 7h 22min, browsing 18h 23min, video 9h 48min, gaming 10h 18min.

The A57 charges marginally slower than the Galaxy S26+, which also supports 45W charging and has a slightly smaller 4,900 mAh battery. Despite the smaller cell, the S26+ lasts noticeably longer in PhoneArena's tests.

Leaks indicate the A58 may retain the A57's camera array: a 50MP main sensor, a 12MP ultrawide, and a 5MP macro shooter, with no telephoto lens reported. PhoneArena reviewer Victor described the A57 camera as "just average."

Other expected changes are limited. The A58 will likely use the successor to the Exynos 1680 chipset, according to current reports. Rumored starting prices range from $649 to $699, and a $699 entry could overlap with the Galaxy S26 FE, which launched at $699.

All specifications, capacities and prices remain unconfirmed by Samsung and subject to change pending further certifications and an official announcement.
