Leak Reveals Samsung Galaxy Fold8, Fold8 Ultra, Flip8

Shop lights. A glass counter. Three foldables in a row. That’s the scene a Reddit user dropped this week from a Samsung retail outlet in South Korea, and the photo strips away a lot of mystery ahead of the official reveal.

A rare in-store glimpse

The image places the Z Fold8 center stage, with the Z Flip8 to the left and the Z Fold8 Ultra to the right. The Fold8 is shown partially open, exposing a two-part hinge with a dark element at its midpoint. It’s a small detail, but potentially a big one: designers have been chasing ways to hide or soften the crease for years. A split-hinge could change how the display folds and how noticeable that line appears when the device is closed.

Leaked pricing has also surfaced. Early figures point to the Z Fold8 starting at about €1,747 for the 256GB model, while the Fold8 Ultra could begin around €1,931. South Korean retail tags reportedly translate to roughly €1,628 for the standard Fold8 and about €1,841 for the Ultra. The Z Flip8 appears positioned lower, at approximately €1,203.

Those numbers aren’t final. Leaks often shift as more information leaks out. Still, they sketch a clear map: Samsung is doubling down on premium hardware and distinct tiers, giving buyers choices across price and features.

What else do we learn from a single blurred shelf snapshot? Build hints. A sturdier hinge mechanism. A screen that looks flatter when open. And, perhaps most important, a visual story Samsung wants to control before headlines take over.

Mark the date. Samsung will pull back the curtain on July 22 at its Galaxy Unpacked event in London. Expect official specs, camera details, battery information, and, if the leaks are accurate, confirmation of those three models and their starting prices.
