Why does that matter? Because 90W on a phone with a very large battery changes how you use it. Less tether time. More on-the-go endurance. Combine that with a reported 7,500mAh cell and you’re looking at a device built for marathon days rather than sprints.

The display is expected to be a 6.59-inch OLED panel at roughly 1.5K resolution. Under the hood, tipsters point to a MediaTek Dimensity 9500-series chipset. That pairing suggests Vivo is balancing peak performance with efficiency—handy when there’s a bigger battery to keep fed.

Wireless charging won’t be ignored either. Rumors indicate 40W wireless charging, so you get fast top-ups without reaching for a cable. Not quite the speed of wired, but a welcome flexibility for daily use.

Camera specs read like a checklist for photographers who want options. A 50-megapixel front camera is expected for crisp selfies. On the back, leaks suggest a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide shooter and a 64-megapixel Sony LYT-610 periscope telephoto unit. If true, the X500 would cover wide, wider and long-range shots with a strong hardware foundation.

Software will reportedly be OriginOS 7 based on Android 17. That combination should deliver Vivo’s custom features on top of the latest Android base, a useful selling point for buyers who care about UI polish and timely platform improvements.

One more piece of context: the X Fold 6 has also been spotted in certification records. Vivo launched the X Fold 6 in China back in July. These global filings fuel the possibility that the foldable may reach international markets before the X500 series does.
