Search improvements aim to be smarter about the faces that matter. Results for people and pets are more accurate, and Photos introduces new collections such as Captured by Me and Identity Documents to help you find recent shots or important scans without hunting through folders.
These updates are incremental rather than revolutionary. Still, when small features remove friction, the cumulative effect is visible. Simple exports, clearer sharing, and better search make Photos feel more usable. And when you can turn a set of memories into a shareable video in a couple of taps, you start to rethink the app as more than storage.
