UGREEN at IFA 2026: Smart Chargers, App-Controlled Power Strips and a New Push Into Home Security

UGREEN used IFA 2026 to show that its ambitions now extend well beyond the chargers, cables and mobile accessories for which the brand is best known.

During our visit to the booth, the company demonstrated a new generation of connected charging products with built-in displays, app-controlled power strips and, more significantly, a new smart-home lineup built around HomeAgent and indoor and outdoor security cameras.

Smart chargers gain screens and remote control

One of the main areas of UGREEN’s IFA display focused on new charging products equipped with integrated screens.

According to the booth representative, the devices can connect to UGREEN’s mobile application, allowing users to monitor and control individual charging ports from their phone.

For example, users can turn charging ports off remotely while away from home and enable them again before returning.

The app can also display the charging power being delivered by individual ports, giving users a clearer view of how connected devices are using the available output.

The representative noted that the products are available with different charging-power configurations, although exact wattages for the individual models were not specified during our demonstration.

The display can be personalized through the app

The built-in screen is not limited to showing technical information.

UGREEN also allows users to customize the display through the mobile app, including creating their own wallpapers and visual layouts.

It is a relatively small feature, but it reflects the company’s attempt to make chargers more interactive rather than treating them simply as passive power adapters.

Smart power strips join UGREEN’s connected ecosystem

The company also demonstrated IoT-enabled power strips using a similar app-based approach.

These products can connect to the same mobile ecosystem, allowing users to control their power connections remotely.

The idea is essentially to bring some of the functionality of smart plugs into a multi-port power strip, giving users centralized control over several connected devices.

Once again, the booth presentation focused on the connected functions rather than detailed electrical specifications, so we are not assigning wattage or port configurations that were not explicitly provided.

HomeAgent marks a much bigger change for UGREEN

The most important part of the demonstration came later.

UGREEN’s representative described its new smart-home products as some of the company’s most significant launches of the year.

That is notable because UGREEN has traditionally been associated primarily with accessories. At IFA 2026, however, the company showed security cameras and a HomeAgent hub, signaling a move into a much broader connected-home ecosystem.

HomeAgent acts as the center of the system

According to the representative, HomeAgent is designed to manage compatible UGREEN devices, including cameras and other security products.

Rather than controlling each device independently, the hub is intended to provide a central point for managing the smart-home system.

The representative specifically demonstrated the concept alongside UGREEN’s new camera lineup.

Indoor and outdoor security cameras

UGREEN showed at least two camera types during our booth visit:

• an indoor security camera
• an outdoor security camera

Both were presented as part of the wider HomeAgent ecosystem.

UGREEN is becoming more than an accessory company

UGREEN’s IFA 2026 presentation showed two parallel directions.

The first is an evolution of its existing business: chargers and power strips are becoming smarter, more visual and remotely controllable.

The second is more significant. With HomeAgent and its new security cameras, UGREEN is stepping into a category that goes well beyond conventional accessories.

If the company continues expanding that ecosystem, UGREEN could increasingly position itself not only as a manufacturer of the devices that connect and charge our technology, but also as a brand that helps manage the connected home itself.
