XAOTOS used IFA 2026 to showcase a surprisingly broad mobility lineup, ranging from smart electric bikes and compact foldable models to an AI-assisted exoskeleton and more powerful off-road machines.

During our booth visit, the company focused on the idea of making personal mobility smarter, lighter and more adaptable, while also showing how AI can be used to support riders and even assist human movement.

Smart e-bike with app unlocking and riding assistance

One of the first products shown was a new smart e-bike aimed at younger riders and everyday urban use.

According to the presenter, the bike can be unlocked using a smartphone and includes a smart system that monitors riding behavior.

The representative also described an algorithm that can assess factors such as rider load and bike angle.

One example given at the booth involved riding maneuvers such as a wheelie, where the system can evaluate the bike’s angle, power delivery and load.

The battery can also charge other devices

The representative also highlighted the battery system.

According to the booth demonstration, the battery supports USB Type-C connectivity and can also be used to charge a smartphone.

That effectively allows the bike battery to function as an emergency power source for smaller devices.

The presenter specifically emphasized this as a useful feature for commuting, travel and situations where the bike is being carried into an office or vehicle.

XAOTOS also showed an AI-assisted exoskeleton

The most unusual product at the booth was an exoskeleton designed to assist leg movement.

The system attaches to the user’s legs and is intended to provide additional support when walking, running, climbing stairs or moving uphill.

According to XAOTOS, the device uses an AI algorithm to adjust the level of assistance depending on the user and the activity.

The representative described different assistance levels for different people, suggesting that the system can vary how much power it provides rather than applying one fixed amount.

Designed to help with climbing and longer movement

XAOTOS positioned the exoskeleton particularly around situations where the user needs more assistance.

More powerful off-road and dirt-bike models
