WIWU at IFA 2026: Smart Wallets, Anti-Loss Tracking and Biometric Security Accessories

WIWU used IFA 2026 to showcase a range of smart everyday-carry accessories built around three recurring ideas: tracking, security and multifunctional design.

During our visit to the booth, the company demonstrated products including a wallet with integrated tracking, a patented smart accessory with Face ID-style locking and temperature sensing, and several secure pouches and bags using biometric access methods such as face recognition and fingerprints.

A smart wallet with built-in tracking and anti-scan protection

The first product shown to us was a smart wallet with an integrated tracking module.

According to the presenter, the wallet supports both Apple Find My and Android tracking networks, allowing users to locate it if it is lost.

WIWU already sells dual-network trackers compatible with Apple Find My and Android Find Hub, including the WT-08, so the dual-platform tracking concept shown at the booth is consistent with the company’s current anti-loss lineup.

The tracker is hidden inside the wallet rather than attached externally, helping it remain discreet.

The presenter also described the wallet as offering anti-scan protection, intended to reduce the risk of unauthorized contactless card reading.

WIWU’s current wallet range includes models with built-in Find My support and RFID-related security features, although the exact wallet model shown during our IFA demonstration was not identified by name.

A patented smart accessory combines a stand, temperature sensor and biometric lock

The second product was more unusual.

WIWU described it as one of its own patented designs and demonstrated several functions integrated into a single portable accessory.

The presenter said it can be used as a stand during exercise or other activities, while also incorporating a temperature sensor.

More notably, the product includes what the presenter described as a Face ID lock.

The intended use is simple: if the owner leaves the item temporarily, for example at a gym or while stepping away in a public place, the contents can remain locked and only the registered user can reopen it.

The same product also includes Finder-style tracking, allowing it to be located if left behind.

Because the exact retail name and technical implementation of the face-recognition system were not clearly stated during our presentation, we are intentionally reporting those capabilities as demonstrated at the booth without assigning a specific model number.

WIWU is also adding biometric locks to bags and pouches

The company then showed several secure carrying products with different unlocking methods.

One model used face recognition, another used a fingerprint sensor, and the presenter also demonstrated a hands-free gesture-based opening method on one unit.

WIWU currently lists both face-recognition lock pouches and fingerprint-secured pouches in its official product catalog, confirming that biometric security has become part of the company’s bag and organizer range.

The idea is to let users temporarily secure valuables without relying on a conventional key or combination lock.

Tracking is becoming a recurring feature across WIWU products

One theme appeared repeatedly throughout the presentation: anti-loss tracking.

The presenter emphasized that bags and other accessories can include hidden tracking hardware so users can locate them if they are misplaced.

WIWU’s current tracker range includes compact Find My devices as well as models that work with both Apple Find My and Android Find Hub.

That allows the company to integrate tracking into wallets, bags and travel accessories rather than selling trackers only as standalone products.

WIWU brought its newest mobile-lifestyle products to IFA

IFA 2026 was WIWU’s first appearance at the Berlin show, where the company said it would present its newest mobile-accessory and everyday-carry products.

What stood out during our booth visit was not one single flagship device, but the way WIWU is combining several familiar technologies into ordinary accessories.

A wallet becomes trackable. A pouch gains face recognition. A bag can use a fingerprint lock. And everyday carry products increasingly include features that would previously have required separate accessories.

For WIWU, the direction at IFA 2026 was clear: make conventional mobile and travel accessories smarter without turning them into complicated gadgets.
