vivo has started teasing details for the X500 series ahead of its China debut this month. The lineup includes the base X500, X500 Pro, and X500 Pro Max, and today the company confirmed the imaging hardware for the standard model.

The headline is the main sensor: a 50MP, 1/1.28-inch Sony LYT-828, the same chip used in the vivo X300 Pro. Size matters here. Rumors around the rest of the kit line up with the leaks: a 50MP ultrawide shooter, a compact 6.37-inch display, and a 3nm MediaTek Dimensity 9000-series chipset under the hood. None of those bits are surprising, but together they suggest vivo aims to balance flagship imaging with manageable size and strong performance.
