Porsche has been photographed testing the 2028 Panamera facelift with minimal camouflage, revealing mostly bumper-focused styling changes on a near-production prototype.
The newly seen base-spec car contrasts with previously spotted GTS mules that wore heavier camo; the clearest differences appear at the front bumper, where the GTS shows more aggressive, sculpted vertical outer intakes.

The V6‑powered base model uses more restrained outer intakes and cleaner lower bumper lines while retaining the overall arrangement of the outgoing 2027 Panamera. Headlight shapes and the lighting signature appear unchanged from the current model.
At the rear, Porsche separates the base car from the GTS with different outer vents and diffuser-style elements; the regular Panamera rear is noticeably smoother and less aggressive. Both prototypes wear two pairs of round exhaust outlets, while the most affordable 2027 Panamera ships with a single pair of trapezoidal exhaust finishers, suggesting the test car may carry an optional sport exhaust.

In the US the 2027 Panamera starts at $113,000 or about $1,513 per month and can be fitted with sport tailpipes and a sport exhaust system that adds four round outlets. Porsche says the different mufflers help the V6 underhood exhale better.
Both prototypes keep the full-width rear light bar; a visible charging port on the newer test car indicates it is likely a Panamera 4 or 4S in E-Hybrid form. Porsche claims 0 to 60 miles per hour times of 3.9 or 3.5 seconds with the Sport Chrono Package for these hybrids, and rates the 4S E-Hybrid at 536 mechanical horsepower with a top speed of 180 miles per hour (290 kilometers per hour) on summer performance rubber.

The 2028 model's powertrain range should hardly differ from the current one, with V8 engines and V8 plug-in hybrids remaining the range-topping options. As of this writing, the GTS is the only Panamera offered with V8-only power; upgrading to the Turbo introduces plug-in assistance and additional weight that does not materially harm acceleration or top speed figures.
Porsche lists the Turbo S E-Hybrid for 2027 at 771 combined horsepower, a 0 to 60 miles per hour time of 2.8 seconds and a top speed of 202 miles per hour (325 kilometers per hour).
