Google flipped the switch on Android 17 for Pixels in mid June, and if you own one, the update may already be knocking at your door. For everyone else the question is simple and familiar: will my phone get it, and when?
Pixels lead the charge
As usual, Pixel phones are first out of the gate. The OTA started on June 16 for eligible models, with timing varying by region. If you own a Pixel from the last several generations, Android 17 is coming.
- Pixel 10, 10 Pro, 10 Pro XL, 10 Pro Fold, 10a
- Pixel 9, 9 Pro, 9 Pro XL, 9 Pro Fold, 9a
- Pixel 8, 8 Pro, 8a
- Pixel 7, 7 Pro, 7a
- Pixel 6, 6 Pro, 6a
- Pixel Tablet
- Pixel Fold
Short and sweet: Google phones are covered first. Expect timely updates and feature parity across qualifying models.
Where the rest of the industry stands
Manufacturers rarely publish final device lists right away. So we examined each vendor's update policy to map likely recipients of Android 17. Policies don't lie: if a phone is within the supported update window, the upgrade is probable.
Samsung is already running a One UI 9.0 beta based on Android 17 on Galaxy S26 series phones. A stable rollout is likely to begin with the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Z Flip 8 in July 2026, then spread across their lineup.

- Galaxy Z TriFold; Z Fold Special Edition; Z Fold 7 and 6; Z Flip 7, 6 and previous foldables back to Fold 5 and Flip 5
- A series coverage ranges from A57 down to budget A06 and A07 variants

- Galaxy Tab S and Tab A lines, including Tab S11, S10 families, Tab S9 series and select rugged and FE tablets

OnePlus ran Android 17 testing mainly on the OnePlus 15. The stable upgrade will arrive as OxygenOS 16 on many flagships and Nord models, likely around November 2026.
- OnePlus Open; 15 series and 13/12 flagships; OnePlus 11
- Nord 6, 5, 4 and multiple Nord CE models
- OnePlus Pad family, including Pad 4 through Pad Go 2
Nothing didn’t run a public beta, but it plans broad Android 17 coverage with Nothing OS 5.0, probably starting in November 2026. Expect most recent Phone (4a) and Phone (3) variants to be supported.
- Phone (4a) and Pro; Phone (3) family including a and Lite variants; Phone (2a) line and CMF Phone 2 Pro
Motorola is splitting Android 17 across premium Razr foldables, Edge flagships, and a long list of Moto G devices. Several models are in beta now; stable releases should begin around October 2026.
- Razr family up to the 2026 Razr 70 series
- Edge 70, 60 and 50 families plus 2025/2026 Edge models
- Moto G series from G Max to recent G Play and Power variants
- Plus tablets and specialty devices like the ThinkPhone 25 and Signature model
Xiaomi and its Redmi and POCO subbrands are staging rollouts in waves. Xiaomi began betas on premium 17 series devices; stable releases appear likely from October into November 2026 depending on region.
- Xiaomi 17 family, 15 series, 14 family and flagship Mix/Leitzphone models
- Redmi Note 15 and Note 14 families, Redmi 15 series and A-series budget phones, plus Redmi Pad 2 tablets
- POCO F, X, M and C series phones and POCO Pad models
Oppo and its Find and Reno lines will join the November wave. Developer previews touched Find X9 Pro earlier, and stable updates should follow for Find N foldables, Find X flagships and many Reno and F/K series phones.
- Find N6, N5 and earlier foldables; Find X9/X8 families; Reno 15 through Reno 11 ranges; Oppo Pad lineup
Vendors that share code and timelines with Oppo, Xiaomi or their Chinese peers will typically roll out around the same time—November 2026 is a safe bet for many Vivo, iQOO and Realme models.
- Vivo X, V, T and Y series models across premium and midrange tiers
- iQOO 15/13/12 flagships and Z/Neo series midrangers
- Realme GT and number series plus P, C and Pad families
Some manufacturers will be faster or slower. Honor aims for an October 2026 start with MagicOS 11. Sony is keeping things compact, with three Xperia flagships expected to get Android 17 directly around October. Asus appears likely to push updates later in the year, given its historical pace.
- Honor Magic and numbered series; targeted rollouts starting October 2026
- Sony Xperia 1 VI, 1 VII and 10 VI
- Asus ROG Phone 9 family and Zenfone 12 Ultra
If your device is within a maker's official update window, Android 17 is very likely to arrive.
We will continue to watch vendor announcements and push this list as companies publish their official eligible device pages. Got a phone you're unsure about? Ask and we'll check the latest policy and beta participation for that model.

Ooh Android 17 hitting Pixel Tablet and Fold? finally! Fingers crossed my OnePlus 13 sees November update, carriers kill the timing tho, ugh 😬
Wait, Galaxy Z Fold 8 in July? sounds early, is Samsung really rolling stable that fast or just beta talk? Pixel list ok, but regional timing messy, any tips?
