HMD announced the Nokia 2360 Flip on 30 October 2026 in a post attributed to Siddharth. The 2360 Flip is a clamshell feature phone aimed at school students and senior citizens, notable for its dual displays, a Family Assist remote-management feature, and a dedicated SOS button on the rear panel.

Family Assist lets designated family members manage the device remotely. According to HMD, they can add contacts, adjust volume levels, set reminders, and access other settings from a separate account, which HMD positions as a way to simplify device setup and ongoing control for caregivers or parents.

The rear-mounted SOS button calls a pre-set emergency contact when pressed and sends an alert message to up to five contacts. The company describes this as a single-action emergency function built into the handset rather than a service that depends on an app or third-party platform.

The phone supports only 2G cellular connectivity, which will limit its usability in regions that have discontinued 2G networks.

Specifications and limitations

The Nokia 2360 Flip has a 2.8-inch main display and a 1.77-inch external screen. Other hardware includes a removable 1,450mAh battery, a loudspeaker, a QVGA camera (a low-resolution sensor, roughly 320 by 240 pixels), 4MB of internal storage, FM radio, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The inclusion of a removable battery and a physical headphone jack aligns with the phone's focus on simple, long-lasting daily use.

HMD will offer the 2360 Flip in Burgundy Red, Charcoal, and Teal. The company has not yet disclosed pricing or availability details.
