Luxury loves a rumor. When whispers of an Apple foldable began circulating, one Russian customizer decided to skip the wait and build a narrative around the possibility instead of the product itself. The result is Caviar's new Flagship collection, a set of ultra-limited designs imagined for the yet-to-be-confirmed foldable iPhone often nicknamed the iPhone Ultra.

Small runs, loud statements

There are four editions in total, and each is capped at exactly 19 pieces. Nineteen. That number alone signals more showpiece than mass-market accessory. The designs lean into opulence: a prominent three-dimensional Apple logo sits on every rear panel, and materials range from black PVD titanium to sterling silver and 18-karat gold.

Prices reflect that intent. The entry-level Titan variant is listed at about €12,733, dressed in black PVD-coated titanium and black crocodile leather. A step up, the Dark Cherry model, pairs wine-purple crocodile leather with 24-karat gold accents for roughly €13,128. The Silver edition swaps the upper titanium half for sterling silver and keeps the crocodile grip for around €14,048. At the top sits the Gold variant, priced about €14,315, which replaces leather with a carbon-fiber composite woven with gold threads, a 24-karat gold-plated frame, and an Apple emblem cast in 18-karat gold.

There’s a clear wink in the Dark Cherry colorway, which Caviar positions as anticipating the rumored palette for Apple’s upcoming iPhone 18 Pro series. Read between the lines and you get a two-part pitch: we believe Apple will go bold, and we’ll make sure the boldest people get the first taste.

Curious minds can inquire about these bespoke pieces on Caviar’s website. For those tracking the story of foldable iPhones, it’s worth noting this move is as much about signaling status and craftsmanship as it is about any specific device specs.

In a related release, Caviar has also launched magnetic backplates for the iPhone 17 Pro Max. One edition leans into museum-level theatrics, featuring an inset genuine T. rex fossil for clients seeking the most ostentatious conversation starter on the block.

This collection is theater dressed as hardware, a reminder that in luxury tech the idea often matters as much as the engineering.
